I was looking for a tool to geo-tag my images. I found a pretty interesting product from Sony (GPS-CS1KA) but later decided to go for the GlobalSat DG-100 Data Logger instead.
The imprint on the box states: "The DG-100 is a passive data logger that records and saves your traveled route with accurate GPS coordinates (waypoints), time stamps and speed. Saved is downloaded to your PC via USB and the details displayed by using a third party software such as Google Earth."
Let's see how it works, here is my review.

What's in the box
- DG-100 GPS Data Logger
- Belt clip
- Two AA rechargeable NiMh batteries (2500 mAh)
- CD-ROM
- Install Guide
and since I bought it from Semsons I got as a special offer the following free add-ons:
- Bottle-cap camera mount (rather useless for my purposes)
- USB power supply (very helpful in the DG-100 context)
